Livingstone, 17 July 2015:
The Show again opened at 8am Zambian time. So the Planting A Future Crew was up early to be ready for the show.
Lloyd sent a little video where the 4 guys introduce themselves. Check it out and see the faces behind the project 🙂
Today our stand was visited by a lot of people: simple visitors, people from NGOs, official people. It is amazing to see how much attention we get.
Grime, for example, talked and explained about the project and our objectives to the chairman of the National Farmers Union.
National Farmers Union wants to link us to an NGO that works with similar projects. This might be an interesting thing to look into.
Also we talked to people who are interested in buying trees from Planting A Future.
And now here are a few impressions of the show and the stands of other exhibitors. Most of them are government and commercial entities that exhibit lots of different products starting with seeds and fertilizers up to plants and equipment. Planting A Future is the only Co-Operative at the show.
Now have a look at some pictures:
Look at all those professional stands. Some work to do for us. But we still think our booth kicks *** 😉
