Recap Day 3: Provincial Agriculture Show

Livingstone, 18 July 2015: Another early morning for Grime, Wesley, Lloyd and Andrew. What a busy day it was. The guys took every chance to talk to people, NGOs, officials and organizations. Making contacts and connections…the Provincial Show is the best place to do just that. We also asked  a show goers what they think about Breadfruit and Planting A Future. Listen to James’ opinion:

Like in the past 2 days our stand and booth was drawing a lot of people and we got a lot of attention and great feedback from everyone.

Also today was the big day. The officials announced the winners of the different categories. And Planting A Future won the Best Cooperative Award.

And guess what? Lloyd was so busy talking to representatives of the Nanga Research Institute that he wasn’t even aware that the awards were given out. So Grime went to pick the certificate and trophy.

And when we now tell you what awesome prices we recieved you will not believe your eyes and ears: a bag of seeds and a bag of fertilizer. No joke. TIA…This is Africa 😉
