Chances and Challenges: Lloyd talks about the National Agriculture Show

Well…we got invited to the National Agriculture Show in Lusaka in about 3 weeks from now. Listen to Lloyd talking about the chances and difficulties of that show, about what we hope to achieve by exhibiting there and also about what financial and logistical problems we face. Tune in and hear Lloyd explaining it all!

No more window shopping…We are now making a real job of it!

Finally last Sunday we could do the first money transfer from Germany to Zambia. In our fundraising campaign around Christmas we collected around 3.500 Euros. The first 500 Euros now arrived in Zambia and I could buy some of the items on our wish list.

For now our priority is to protect the seedlings from too much sun. That is why we decided to first buy some shade nettings and poles to build a shelter.

Since we are still waiting for Western Union to confirm the verification of the bank account holder we now use the time to build shelter. As soon as this is all through the remaining money will be transferred so that we can buy more things, like the much needed water pump and water tanks, as well as fences.

I already checked out those items in the stores 😉

Soon we will get the water pump :)

Next step is to buy tanks so we can actually keep some water for dry periods

Different wires and fences are still on our list

See all that? Soon…soon 😉

THANK YOU SO MUCH – Successful first Fundraising Campaign

We are so happy to start the new year with some big THANKS! Our fundraising campaign around Christmas was so successful and went far beyond our expectations. We collected an incredible amount of 3.510 Euros.

We do not have words to describe how much we appreciate your donations.

Special thanks go to our donors in Germany! Thank you so much! And thank you to Bruni and Julie for all your help and support.

We will now make plans on how to best use the money for all the items we need so urgently. We will post updates all along.

Happy New Year. 2015 will be a fantastic year indeed.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! WITHOUT YOU WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PLANT A FUTURE.
